DDI (Drum Dance Ireland) is an established professional organisation providing entertainment and workshops based on music and dance all around the country. Drum Dance Ireland is an education based resource promoting West African Drumming and Dance, founded by former dancer in residence Catherine Young and drummer/percussionist Urs Wenk, a native of Switzerland now living in Kerry. Both have been delivering workshops in West African Drumming and Dancing throughout Kerry and all over Ireland for the last number of years.

With over 15 years of experience in teaching drumming and facilitating drum circles DDI have the know-how to make every workshop or class a success with the necessary fun factor.
Fun is their motto and they have developed methods of teaching with games and activities that involve a lot more than just playing drums and learning rhythms.
